Hi! My name is Eric, photographed above in a couple of my happy places.
I'm a graphic designer and content creator based in Durango, CO. Over the years, I've gained experience working on a variety of projects in different disciplines and in different settings. I love crafting experiences and creating content to tell stories that motivate people to take action.
Progressing my skillsets, adapting to new experiences, and working towards mastery of my crafts are the things that motivate me to show up as my best self in life and at work. I have experience managing a team and working with a variety of clients while delivering multiple projects under tight deadlines, all the while keeping my cool and being a positive guy to be around.
Please take a look at some of my work below. Let me know if you have any questions!
Sample Project
Instagram Reel
Goal: Generate excitement and awareness for the MTMS. Showcase its versatility and innovative design through a fast-paced, visually compelling reel.

Write-Up: For the Reel placement, I really wanted to use video footage in order to create a fast pace and dynamic video while being able to showcase a lot of the MTMS product and it’s functionalities. In order to achieve this, I used the inspector function of my browser in order to download the homepage hero video from the website. I added a narration quickly generated by an ai service that I use based on a script I wrote to target the ~15-20 second mark and be in line with the other assets thinking of this as a launch campaign.
Newsletter
Goal: Inform subscribers that the MTMS pre-order is now live and direct them to stapll.com to secure their order.

Write-Up: For the Newsletter placement, I developed a mock layout and content within Illustrator in order to have creative freedom as I explored what the brand of Stapll could be in regards to the MTMS Bracket. I wanted to make sure to add value to the viewer through education on the product, it’s use cases, and the structure of the pre-order fulfillment. In order to truly achieve this layout to be publish ready I would build it would in a builder such as BeePro that allows more advanced layouts in an effort to reduce image based text for ADA compliance and responsiveness.

Trade Magazine Ad
Goal: Create a bold, eye-catching ad to introduce the MTMS to trade show attendees and readers.

Write-Up: For the Magazine Ad placement, I pondered hard on how to introduce this new innovative product to a wide audience through a single page print ad given the provided assets. I came across the chosen photo and loved how simple it was able to boil down the product and its offering to the user in a clean, not overly pointed image. It clearly and simply communicates side truck storage below the bed rail. A bit of work in photoshop to make the sky format well for the placements with an epic sunset to be captivating, finally a quick rebrand on the case to reinforce the brand that is being advertised. With limited real estate and attention for copy I tried to convey the main unique selling points of MTMS with a clear call to action.
